Migrating to Office 365 from On-Premise Exchange 2010.

Missing TXT record from the Microsoft installation guide.

When you start configuring the migration to Office 365 from On-Premise exchange server, you need to configure TXT record from the Microsoft guide.

However, this TXT record will prevent from sending email to Sender who configure his mail policy to the Policy Framework (SPF).

Following this step allow you to send email to mail policy with SPF:

The TXT record from Microsoft guide is:

v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com  -all

Here’s what you need to do:

Add to the TXT record so that it authorize MX record matching to the A record address.

To send SPF:

v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com a: <MX record Address point to on-premise exchange server> -all

Working like a magic.
